Through the years 2002-2007, James was recognized as the top producing commercial realtor in metropolitan Pittsburgh by the Realtors Association. While an agent at Remax Select Realty, in years 2002-2006, he was honored as the top commission earner, and sales production leader for 6 consecutive years. Remax International declared him the top commercial real estate Broker in the eastern region, for commissions earned & commercial sales, in 2006.

 James began his commercial real estate career in 1988 with an internship with Youngstown, Ohio based commercial real estate developer – the Cafaro Company. Following his internship, James joined regional mall developer, the Mall Company, followed by employment with the Edward J. DeBartolo Corp. based in Youngstown, OH. At DeBartolo he was a leasing manager for all regional mall holdings. In 1996 James returned to Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and joined Gold & Company where he specialized in commercial brokerage. In 2002 he joined Remax Select Realty and served as Vice President of the commercial real estate division, before he found Jabe Companies in 2007.

 James has worked with numerous national retailers including: Wal-Mart, Target, Sherwin-Williams, Dollar Tree, Steve & Barry’s, Aaron Rents, Tractor Supply, Kay Jewelers, Supervalu, Kroger, Shoe Show, Aldi, Sheetz, Dollar General, Wendy’s, Rite Aid, CVS, Advance Auto, Auto Zone, Menards, Napa, K-Mart, and countless others.
